Discovery Full Day Wine Tour Blenheim & Renwick

Sampling some of Marlborough’s world award winning wines & Cellar Door top flight selections.

This tour is an ultimate fun day out and a discovery of your senses.

10am Complementary collection from your accommodation
We plan for two Cellar Door experiences before your lunch stop
We allow approx 1.5hrs for your lunch experience. Your experience will be at an award winning Vineyard Resturant including wine tasting from their top flight selection
Your afternoon will be relaxing at another 2 Cellar Doors ensuring your Discovery wine tour offers quality over quantity.
We will be offering you the opportunity to enjoy not only the wine but the vineyards, Marlborough scenery and your fellow travellers
We will then return you to your accommodation between 4:30-5:00pm

A good wine starts in the vineyard, we explain how vines are planted, pruned, managed & harvested.

Inclusions & Exclusions

All Cellar Door standing tasting experiences are included in your tour tariff
Lunch/Platter costs are not included in your tour tariff

Sauvignon blanc may be the dominant force in this area, but with about 15 grape varieties grown, we have a wine to suit every palate

We had an amazing Blenheim wine tasting experience with Chris who was very knowledgeable, very friendly and had a great relationship with all the six Wineries we visited: Hunters, Lake Chalice, St Clair, Allan Scott, Seresin( Organic and Biodynamic) and Framingham.

During our 6 hour trip we tasted over 30 wines including astounding Sauvignon Blancs; superb modern Chardonnays; perfectly sweet late harvest Rieslings ; and our personal new favourite Gewürztraminers

Pick up was from information centre in Picton – where the cruise ship shuttle bus drops you and Chris dropped us back at that pick up point- Tours timed to fit in with cruise ship times
Really glad we booked with Na Clachan- very organised with a friendly approach, very knowledgeable and our best Tour of the whole cruise
